Senior SEC Reporting Analyst
Location: Irving, TX
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000

What You'll Do
SEC Reporting & Compliance
- Lead the preparation of critical SEC filings: 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, registration statements, and proxy statements
- Build and maintain robust workpapers and disclosure tie-outs that ensure accuracy and compliance
- Validate XBRL data submissions to the SEC
Financial Reporting
- Own the development of consolidated financial statements with precision and clarity
- Drive monthly and quarterly close processes, variance analysis, and MD&A preparation
- Partner across finance and business teams to ensure disclosures are clear, complete, and compliant
Technical Accounting
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging accounting standards and complex issues
- Author technical accounting memos that demonstrate GAAP expertise and support decision-making
Internal Controls & Audit Support
- Help design and implement SOX-compliant controls that actually work
- Collaborate with external auditors and lead quarterly review preparations
- Identify and drive automation opportunities that streamline our reporting processes
Who You Are
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA (preferred)
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field (a plus)
Experience
- 2–4 years in SEC reporting or public accounting roles
- Big 4 background preferred
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Excel power user
- Familiarity with Workiva or comparable SEC reporting platforms (preferred)
- Background in SOX compliance, internal controls, or insurance accounting (nice to have)
